- Helly Tech® Protection: Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics and constructions. For all situations and weather conditions where protection from the elements is needed.

For all activities in wet, cold and windy weather, Helly Tech® protection is the ideal protective layer. The guaranteed waterproof and breathable technology stops water ingress, but also wicks away moisture, meaning you stay dry and warm, whatever the conditions.

Minimum waterproofness of 5,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/24h /m2 and typically in the range of 5,000-15,000 for both respectively.

- DRW: All Helly Tech fabrics are treated with a durable water repellent treatment to prevent moisture from seeping through. This reduces the surface tension of the fabric to ensure that water beads on the outer layer of the fabric leaving you dry and comfortable.

- 2-layer laminated membrane: A thin sheet of waterproof and breathable membrane material that is laminated to the fabric. The laminated production method is used when thinner, softer and generally higher performance fabric is needed.
The membrane is laminated to the inside of the outer fabric making a 2-layer construction.
