I normally spend 38/38.5 (because of the length of the foot, not the width), so based on the size guide I took a 39 and was totally right. It's true that I have a little width left in my foot and ankle, but with the 38 I would have touched the tip of the shoe.
I was hoping that the rubber would have some kind of inside cover in case it gets wet or something, but it doesn't, I hope it's because it's waterproof
