Originally developed as a waterproof insulating layer for racing sailors, our Crew Midlayer 2.0 hooded men's sailing jacket is an excellent insulated jacket that can also be worn as an outer layer. We've constructed this waterproof, windproof, and breathable midlayer sailing jacket with HELLY TECH® Protection technology. It features an updated inner lining made with Polartec® fleece and taffeta-lined polyester insulation in the sleeves, making it easy to put on and take off. The elbows and shoulders provide even greater freedom of movement. The center front YKK® Vislon® zipper is stronger and more resistant to salt water, making it corrosion-resistant. Its design also includes a hood that can be stowed in the collar. Both the collar and hand pockets have a brushed knit inner lining.

The membrane is 100% polyester, the inner lining 100% polyester, a second inner lining 100% polyester, and the sleeve insulation 100% polyester, lined with taffeta for easy on and off. The main material is Bluepass® and the jacket features synthetic insulation, Polartec® fleece, waterproof, windproof, and breathable HELLY TECH® Protection technology, 2-layer construction, and durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. The center front YKK® Vislon® zipper resists corrosion and salt water, complemented by a trim zipper. The collar and hand pockets have a brushed knit inner lining, described as soft fleece, as well as an internal and external hanger loop. Care instructions: close zippers before washing, do not soak the garment, do not use fabric softener, wash dark colours separately, use liquid detergent and a specific detergent for technical garments, and tumble dry to reactivate the water repellent treatment.
