We rebuilt our celebrated 2976 Chelsea boot with soft Virginia leather, a soft-touch material that makes slipping into an Original Dr. Martens silhouette even easier. The sole is secured with DM's yellow stitching, marked with our signature ribbing and finished with our classic heel pull.

• The 2976 boot is our rugged version of the classic Chelsea boot. Made since the 1970's.
• Virginia is a soft, fine grain leather that has been treated to be soft and supple. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens shoe polish.
• Designed in the 1980s, the BEN sole features deep lugs and a robust pattern.
• All our Goodyear spliced models are sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature stitching.
• Virginia is a soft, grained leather that is comfortable from the first step.
• Upper: 70% Leather / 30% Textile
• Lining: 60 % Leather / 40 % Textile
• Outsole: 100 % PVC
• Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth and let the leather dry, then apply Dr.Martens Wonder Balsam with the sponge provided with the product.
• Reinforced product with Goodyear splicing. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and stitched to maximise strength, not just glued, like so many other shoes.
