The 1955 501® jean from Levi's® Vintage Clothing has a distinctive "anti-fit" (or slightly looser cut in contrast to the tighter, more fitted styles) at the rear, plus a slightly fuller cut at the leg and an overall looser silhouette.This version of the 501® retains some of the same details as the 501®, but with a slightly looser fit and a looser overall silhouette. This version of the 501® retains some classic details from its 1947 predecessor: belt loops as the only method of waist adjustment, hidden copper rivets on the back pockets, and zinc button fly.
