With its wide brim, the hat offers added protection from sunlight, and its plastic visor helps prevent corrosion from salt water. When you don't need the visor, you can remove it using the snap fasteners on the side. The chin strap is adjustable for a secure fit and to prevent the hat from blowing off when the wind blows hard.
