The JAPAN S shoe is inspired by one of our 1981 offerings. This updated version features a low top profile with a court-inspired toe cap. Updated with a lightweight design that features a modified midsole for maximum comfort and cushioning. This classic model mimics the aesthetic of a retro basketball shoe, with nostalgic ASICS logos such as ASICS stripes on the side panels and ASICS lettering on the heel. The aesthetic of the vintage JAPAN S basketball shoe is combined with iconic court details inspired by the shoes worn by basketball players in the 80s.
