Introducing the McMurdo jacket, an all-rounder that combines function and design. It's warm and waterproof thanks to DryVent? technology and responsibly sourced 550 cuin down filling. But it's not just any winter jacket. The McMurdo is made from tough, durable recycled nylon, putting discarded plastic to new use and preventing it from ending up in landfill. In terms of details, the adjustable hood and faux fur trim are removable, there's a two-way zip with storm flap to keep wind and rain out, and there are five pockets, two on the outer chest, one on the inner chest and two hand pockets.

Care:

• Fasten ALL ZIPS: Before washing, turn garment inside out and fasten all zip and Velcro® fastenings to prevent accidental damage.
• MACHINE WASHABLE: Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C and with similar colours. To keep your gear at its best, wash only when necessary to remove impurities such as dirt and odours from cooking and campfire smoke.
• USE SOFT DETERGENT: For best results, instead of using liquid detergent, it is advisable to use mild detergent other than soap flakes.
• RESTORE THE GARMENT'S WATER REPAIR TREATMENT: To prolong the life of your waterproof garments, you will need to re-treat your garment to restore its waterproof finish after certain washings. If you notice that water does not bead up on the surface as it did when you bought it, it may be time to restore the water repellent finish. You can restore it with a spray or wash product, carefully following the instructions for use.
• Tumble dry on a LOW TEMPERATURE DRY PROGRAMME: Tumble dry on a slow, low temperature drying cycle. It is also important to wash and dry each garment separately. It is advisable to put tennis balls in the tumble dryer with the garment to help spread the feathers so that they do not clump together.
