Upper material: Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its waxed and oiled surface creates a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oiled finish of our natural leather products produces colour variations, making each pair unique.

Insole: Natural leather is recognisable by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK does not deliberately treat surface veins or other characteristics. BIRKENSTOCK uses durable leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimetres as upper material.
